Infine la nuova struttura Rubner Haus e Rubner Porte nel Rubner Center di Chienes, un progetto architettonico all’avanguardia sviluppato su tre livelli sopraelevati e un piano interrato per un volume complessivo di oltre 10.000 mq.MADE expo is an important trade fair conceived for excellences in technology and design that is able to capture the international attention, to communicate with the media and with operators accustomed to complicated reality. This year’s edition saw a large attendance of foreign visitors: 211.105 total visitors, of which 35.619 were foreigners. General satisfaction was shown among exhibitors who were able to make new business contacts and enter in new markets. During the last day of the event, particular interested was shown for the conference organized by ICE Beijing on the new opportunities that are opening up in China due to the increasing urbanization, and the meeting with the President of HAWA ( the counterpart of FederlegnoArredo in Vietnam). The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Hon. Mr. Maurizio Lupi, were among the visitors. MADEexpo is the privileged meeting place for businesses, planners, building contractors, window fitters, resellers and dealers. In the four days of the event, the companies have met their clients but, more important, they have developed new business contacts with qualified international dealers. In the stands you could feel the desire to know and to get information on new technologies,  a clear sign of optimism and confidence on the part of visitors and exhibitors: for them MADEexpo is an important moment for their business and a concrete opportunity to rebuild confidence in the industry. Among the stands, the one belonging to Gruppo Rubner captured our attention, for its size, originality and style. The Gruppo Rubner comes from a place rich in values, traditions and environment protection. The respect for nature has always been the key factor of this constantly evolving company, deeply attached to the territory of Alto Adige with a real “passion” for wood. Since1926, the year they started their business, passion for wood has always been the main drive for their activities now run by Stefan, peter, Joachim and Alfred Rubner, that represents the third generation of the family. Under the leadership of President Stefan Rubner, the Rubner Group now manages a company divided into five strategic areas: wood industry, wooden frames, major “turn-key” projects, wood houses and doors. The individual areas of the Group are blended together to create one large unit that guarantees a vertical chain of processes that covers the entire wood distribution chain, from raw material to finished project: sawnwoods, laminated wood stud for framing, solid wood panels, laminated wood beams, natural solid wood construction elements and  laminated wood frames, major “turn-key” projects, residential housing, doors and windows. For more than 85 years, the combination of tradition and innovation is the winning formula of the Rubner Group. An approach that has led to the constant innovation of production processes, more and more competitive and efficient, and significant investments in research and development to identify new employment of wood, which confirm to be a material perfect for the more advanced requirements in comfort, energy performance and safety. The synergy between the Rubner enterprises has led to important results in terms of orders and prestigious projects carried out on international level. Among their most recent wood projects: the Pyramidenkogel of Keutschach am See in Austria, the tallest wooden panoramic tower in the world, the Autogrill Villoresi est near Lainate (MI), a complex structure in laminated wood, the new School Center Garibaldi/Sassi, the after-earthquake construction of one of the three school buildings in Soliera (MO) and the construction of four buildings for the Housing Sociale A.L.E.R. project in Brescia.
