Bormio, Sestriere, Bardonecchia e Courmayeur. Eccole le quattro “reginette” del concorso Vacanze invernali 2013/2014. Mandate in archivio le Feste natalizie, ma con davanti ancora parecchie settimane di neve e di settimane bianche, queste sono le tendenze che si registrano nel settore delle case per la vacanza. Vacanza con gli sci ai piedi, si intende. O comunque ad alta quota, a godersi le temperature basse e l’aria piuttosto frizzante. E proprio nelle quattro arcinote località (che spaziano dalla Lombardia al Piemonte, fino alla valle d’Aosta) si concentrano i maggiori tassi di crescita – sia della domanda che dell’offerta – rispetto alle vacanze invernali di un anno fa. La richiesta, addirittura, è cresciuta del 15% nel giro di dodici mesi.

Ma il fenomeno è evidente anche in altre località, toccando pure altre province e addirittura altre regioni. Buoni risultati si stanno registrando anche a Limone Piemonte (in provincia di Cuneo), così come Aosta, Valtournenche, Livigno, Cervinia, Torgnon, fino alla lontana Pescasseroli, in Abruzzo. A livello di distribuzione, il complesso delle richieste nelle prime settimane della stagione invernale hanno coinvolto soprattutto la Valle d’Aosta (che ne detiene il 20%), quindi la Lombardia (seconda con il 18%) e il Trentino-Alto Adige (con l’11%). I prezzi variano in maniera significativa sia in base alla località, sia al periodo scelto per il soggiorno, seppur in misura minore rispetto agli hotel: per un alloggio con quattro posti letto si va dalle 40 euro ad Aprica – prezzo minimo a notte – ai 450 euro di Courmayeur e Sestriere, prezzo massimo per notte. Prezzi che, come da facile previsione, hanno subito una vera e propria impennata nei giorni “caldi” delle Feste (quelli tra Natale e Capodanno) quando il prezzo per settimana è salito anche fino al 75% in più rispetto agli altri periodi meno richiesti.

I numeri sono stati raccolti da un sito specializzato (Casevacanza.it) che ha condotto un’indagine proprio in vista della stagione invernale ormai in pieno svolgimento. “Le Alpi italiane non temono la concorrenza – spiega Francesco Lorenzani, responsabile di Casevacanza.it – e rappresentano la destinazione più comune tra chi sceglie una casa vacanza in Italia per i mesi freddi. Una stagione sportiva invernale che, grazie alle diverse offerte di molti comprensori sciistici, hanno visto accendere il bisogno della prima settimana sulla neve, anche se è nella terza decade di dicembre, quella natalizia, che si è registrata la vera esplosione, con la concentrazione di oltre il 50% delle prenotazioni di tutto il mese”. Insomma, quello è stato il segnali di “liberitutti” che ha dato il via alla stagione, che ora – come detto – punta sulle settimane bianche. Un vero godimento per chi ama la neve e lo sci, visto che garantiscono condizioni e strutture da alta stagione, ma una presenza più limitata di turisti e praticanti, rendendo la fruizione delle piste e dei servizi connessi un po’ più rilassante.

Andando a “spulciare” il prezzario, dunque, si scopre che ci sono prezzi per tutte le tasche. I più convenienti, senza dubbio, si concentrano in valle d’Aosta, dove si può dormire una notte con soli 50 euro (a Breuil-Cervinia, ma anche nel capoluogo di regione). Stessa tariffa minima a Limone Piemonte, mentre si cresce un po’ se ci si sposta in una località lombarda come Castione della Presolana, con 55 euro. Listino più caro, invece, si trova a Bormio (90 euro a notte come minimo), ma pure a Sestriere e a La Thuile. I prezzi massimi per una notte, infine, si confermano ancora nelle località più di grido: dalle già citate Sestriere e Courmayeur (450 euro) fino a Bormio (330 euro per una notte) e Bardonecchia (260 euro). Holidays on the skis of course. Or holidays at high altitude, to enjoy low temperatures and the rather crispy air. And it is in these very popular places (located in Lombardy, Piedmont and Aosta Valley) that the higher growth rate is registered – either demand and supply – compared to last year winter holidays. The demand has even increased by 15% over the past twelve months. But this is an ongoing trend detected also in other winter resorts, in different provinces and even different regions. Good results have been registered also in Limone Piemonte (located in the province of Cuneo) as well as Aosta, Valtournenche, Livigno, Cervinia, Torgnon, to the far Pescasseroli, in the Abruzzo region. As far as distribution, the total demand on the first weeks of the winter season has mainly involved the Aosta Valley (20%) followed by Lombardy (in second place with 18%) and Trentino-Alto Adige (11%). Prices vary significantly according to the season and to the chosen tourist area, albeit to a lesser extent than hotels: price for 4-person accommodation is from 40 Euro in Aprica – minimum price per night – to 450 Euro in Courmayeur and Sestriere – maximum price per night. As expected, prices have suddenly risen over the Holidays (between Christmas and New Year’s Eve): price per week has risen up to 75% compare to other period of time with less demand.

Figures have been collected by a website specialized in the field (Casavacanza.it) that has conducted a survey before the ongoing winter season. “The Italian Alps are not afraid of competition – says Francesco Lorenzani, manager of Casavacanze.it – and they represent the most common destination for those who chooses a holiday home in Italy for the cold months. A sport winter season that, thanks to the offers of the many ski resorts, has attracted skiers from the first week of the ski season, even if the third week of December, the Christmas week, has seen a boom in reservations representing more than 50% of the reservations for the entire month”. Well, that was the green light for the season to start, a season that – as mentioned – relies now on ski weeks. A real enjoyment for skis and snow lovers, as ski weeks guarantee high season conditions and facilities with less tourists and skiers and the use of slopes and related services more relaxing.

Going over the prices, then, it turns out that there are prices to suit all budgets. The cheapest ones, with no doubt, are concentrated in the Aosta Valley: only 50 Euro for one night (in Breuil-Cervinia, but also in the regional capital). Same minimum price in Limone Piemonte, while in Castione della Presolana, Lombardy, the price is a little bit higher: 55 Euro. More expensive prices in Bormio (90 Euro minimum per night), but also in Sestriere and La Thuile.
